Erika M. Finn, Esq. concentrates her practice in entertainment and media matters. Ms. Finn represents a wide array of entertainment clients, from established production companies to independent filmmakers.
Ms. Finn earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of California at Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law in 2006, where she was a member of California Law Review, editor of the Berkeley Technology Law Journal, a member of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society, and a member of the Berkeley Business Law Forum. In 2003, Ms. Finn served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable John Paul Godich, Magistrate Judge for the Southern District of Indiana.
Prior to law school, Ms. Finn earned an MFA from the Peter Stark Producing Program at the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts, where she focused on Entertainment Business Transactions. She was awarded both the Gene Autry Memorial Award for Academic Excellence, as well as the Ferguson Marketing Award, the top prize for the thesis project. Ms. Finn also holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Indiana University - Bloomington, where she graduated summa cum laude.
Before starting her own firm, Ms. Finn worked for Sony Pictures Entertainment, Proskauer Rose, LLP, Next Entertainment, Jersey Films, and New Line Cinema. Ms. Finn is a member of the California Bar and is admitted to practice in the State of California.
